Nutrition Workshop
We all sometimes need some direction and or help even with something as simple as eating!
On this workshop we will help you to understand how food works within your body and therefore how best to make it work for you!
No matter if your goal is weight loss, fitness development or lean mass gain the information that you will learn from this workshop will help build your knowledge and understanding of nutrition .. this in turn will help you make decsions in your food buying and eating process that will get your results.
As with any fitness and exercise programme you need the right balance of exercise and nutrition - we will now help you to understand this.
The course is delivered by Liz Fryer, so who is she and why listen to what she has to say?
Liz attended Leith's School of Food and Wine to train as a chef, during this time she worked in some world class restaurants including The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Oxo Tower, Vong and Kensington Place.
She then spent a couple of years teaching cooking and catering after this she set up a fish business which produced award winning cured halibut products, receiving Great Taste Gold Awards in 2008 and 2009.
Liz understands nutrition and she understands people. She has a diploma in Sports nutrition and is currently reading for a degree in health sciences - this is why we were so keen to get Liz involved with fitMK and to help her impart her knowledge to you.
When, where and how long is the workshop?
The dates for the next workshop will be:
10th March 2012 at 12pm
We use venues in Milton Keynes to host this workshop and we will confirm upon sign up which one it will be.
The session will run for one hour and we do have a range of freshly prepared, tasty and healthy snacks to hand out on the day.
